While berberine is traditionally used for gastrointestinal support, current research shows that it also supports healthy blood glucose levels, cardiovascular health, and antioxidant activity. It helps maintain blood glucose already within normal levels by supporting healthy insulin sensitivity and the normal absorption of carbohydrates, in addition to maintaining HbA1c levels already within the normal range. It helps maintain waist circumference and body weight. It also helps maintain blood pressure, total and LDL cholesterol, and triglyceride levels already within normal levels. Berberine helps support already normal insulin sensitivity by maintaining healthy alpha-glucosidase activity, a normal number of insulin receptors in peripheral tissues1,2, and both AMPK and UHRF1 activity already within normal levels.Berberine also supports healthy levels of Nrf2, a key regulator of cellular antioxidant support, and helps maintain neural health. Berberine supplements can vary widely in bioavailability. Improved delivery forms, such as LipoMicel berberine, enhance bioavailability, preserve its integrity within the intestine, and may help support intracellular delivery. A pilot crossover study showed that LipoMicel berberine began to support healthy blood glucose levels within the normal range after two 500 mg doses.

Softgel (gelatin, glycerin, purified water, carob bean powder), medium chain triglycerides (refined coconut oil or palm kernel oil), bergamot flavor, MSM, xylitol, Stevia rebaudiana leaf extract, sunflower lecithin.

Suggested Use:1 softgel 2 times per day with food or as directed by a health care professional. May also be chewed. Consult a health care professional for use beyond 3 months.

Berberine may inhibit cytochrome enzymes CYP2D6, CYP3A4, and CYP2C9, and the use of medications metabolized by these enzymes should be monitored.
